Staying Out of Trouble

“My family is teaching me how to be an artist and use my talents.”

My uncles have this joke about “going to carving school.” What they really mean is jail.

So that’s funny, but not funny too. I mean, I’ve done some stupid stuff in my time but I don’t want to go to jail and be locked up. That would make me lose it.

I am interested in the carvings though, so I got them to teach me what they learned. Right now I’m just working on some small bits because I’m not ready for the big bone pieces yet.

I can’t believe how fast the time goes when I’m working on my art. And one of the other benefits is how much the ladies like it when you say you’re an artist.
